  • 2 Medium-sized Potatoes
  • 2 Medium-sized Tomatoes
  • 4 Spicy Green Chillies
  • 2 Medium-sized Onions
  • 30 g Chopped Coconut
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Raw Cumin Seeds Geera
  • 1/2 tablespoon Garam Masala Powder
  • 1/3 tablespoon Red Chilli Powder
  • Turmeric Haldi Powder
  • Salt to taste

  • Dhaniya Leaves Coriander, for garnishing

    Step 1: Preparing the Ingredients

    • Start by washing the vegetables thoroughly. Peel the drumsticks and cut them into pieces.
    • Chop the onions, tomatoes, green chillies, and dhaniya leaves.
    • Peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks.

    Step 2: Cooking the Curry

    • Heat mustard oil in a pan.
    • Add half a teaspoon of raw cumin seeds (geera) to the hot oil and let them sizzle.
    • Add chopped onions and green chillies. Saute them until the onions turn golden brown.
    • Add 1  tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste and cook for about a minute until the raw smell disappears.
    • Add the chopped tomatoes to the mixture. Sprinkle half a tablespoon of red chilli powder, one-third tablespoon of garam masala powder, and a tablespoon of turmeric (haldi) powder. Mix the ingredients well on high heat for a minute.

    • Cover the pan with a lid and allow the mixture to cook for about 20 minutes over medium to low heat. Remember to stir the dish every 5 minutes to prevent sticking.
    • After 20 minutes, add water as required to achieve the desired consistency. Let the curry cook for an additional 5 minutes on high heat, allowing the flavors to meld.
    • Once the gravy has thickened to your liking Add  more 1/4 tablespoon of garam masala, turn off the heat.
