- 1/2 kg Lauki (bottle gourd)
- 1 Tomato
- 1 Bay Leaf
- Kala Geera[kalonji]
- Red Chilli
- Ajmoda Seeds
- Onion Seeds
- Jeera (Cumin)
- Dhaniya (Coriander)
- Ginger
- Garlic
- Salt
- Oil
Masala:
- Sarso (Mustard) Seeds – 2 tablespoon
- Onion Seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
- Ajmod (Carom) Seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Garlic Cloves – 4
- Green Chilli – 2
- Dry Chilli – 2
- 2 bay leaves
- Salt – to taste
How to Prepare the Masala
- Take 2 tablespoons of Sarso (Mustard) seeds, 1/2 teaspoon of Onion Seeds, and 1/2 teaspoon of Ajmod (Carom) seeds.
- Add 1 inch of ginger, 4 garlic cloves, 2 green chillies, and 2 dry chillies to it.
- Add salt to taste.
- Grind all the ingredients together to make a fine paste.

- Peel the Lauki (bottle gourd) and cut it into triangle-sized pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan and add 1 teaspoon Kalonji and 2 Red Chilli to it.

Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 5 minutes on medium flame. Add dhania leaves
