- 2 cups of red kidney beans
- 2 potatos[optional]
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3 medium-sized tomatoes, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons of ginger-garlic paste
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon of red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon of garam masala powder
- 1 tablespoon of kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
