- 1 tsp Roasted Jeera Powder,

- 1 tsp Dhaniya (Coriander Powder)
- Oil for frying
Step-by-Step Recipe for Lauki ki Sabji with Bata Fish
Preparing the Ingredients
- Clean and cut the Bata Fish. Sprinkle salt and haldi and keep it aside for 5 minutes
- Peel and cut the Lauki same as shown in the image
Frying the Fish
- Add the Bata Fish to the oil and fry them lightly on both sides.
- Once done, take them out of the pan and keep them aside.
Cooking Lauki ki Sabji
- In the same pan, add 1/2 tsp jeera dry chilli, and bay leaf and let it crackle.
- Add the cut Lauki to the pan. Add 1/2 tsp haldi, and salt to taste and mix well.

- Cover the pan and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat.

- add a pinch of roasted jeera powder,1/2 red chili powder, a pinch of dhania powder,1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
After 10 minutes, add the fried Bata Fish pieces to the pan.
Cover the pan and cook for another 10 minutes on low heat.
- Garnish with fresh dhania leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or roti
