– Heat oil in a pan, add dry chili and geera,bay leaf and let it sizzle for a few seconds.
– Grind all masalas[ 1 inchginger, 1 onion, 9 garlic cloves,3 green chili,] together to make a fine paste.and add
add 1/4 geera powder,1/4 red chilli powder,1/4 garam masala,stir well
Add chopped tomato and cook until it turns soft and mushy.Cook all spices until they are well fried and smell a good aroma.stirring continuously to prevent it from burning,
add 1 cup water,add salt
– Add fried tilapia fish pieces to the pan and cover it with a lid. Let it cook for 10 minutes low heat , or until the fish is cooked through.
– Garnish with fresh dhaniya leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or naan ,roti
