Tengra Fish Recipe: A Delicious and Easy-to-Make Dish

– Clean the Tengra fish thoroughly

– Sprinkle salt and turmeric powder on both sides of the fish and marinate for 5 minutes.

– Heat oil in a pan

– add the marinated Tengra fish.Fry the fish for 50 seconds on each side on high heat

– Remove the fish from the pan and keep it aside.

Preparing the Gravy

– Add dry chilli to the same pan and let it crackle.

– Add finely chopped onions and saute till it turns golden brown.

– Add chopped tomatoes and stir well.

– Add green chilli

Add cumin powder, red chilli powder, and turmeric powder to the mixture and mix well on low heat for 1 minute

– Pour 2 cup of water and mix everything well.

– Let the gravy cook on high heat for 5 minutes.

– Once the gravy is cooked, add the fried Tengra fish to it.add ginger paste

Adding the Fish to the Gravy

– Add salt to taste and mix everything well. – let it cook for another 10 minutes on high heat.

– Garnish with chopped dhaniya leaves.
