– Begin by washing and slicing your tomatoes into small pieces.
– Heat oil in a pan on medium heat and add sarso and dry red chilli.
– After the sarso starts crackling, add sliced tomatoes, haldi and salt, stir well
– Cover the pan and let it cook for 7 to 10 minutes or until the tomatoes become soft and mushy.

– Once the tomatoes are cooked, add 1 cup sugar to the pan and stir well.
– Let the curry cook for another 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the curry has thickened.
– add 1 and 1/2 cup water[optional] cook for 5 minute
– serve sweet tomato curry with rice,roti,bread
