– Firstly, wash the green amaranth saag thoroughly and chop it into small pieces.
– Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and add 2-3 dry red chilies and 4-5 garlic cloves to it. Fry until the garlic turns golden brown.
– Now, add the chopped green amaranth saag to the pan and stir well.Add 1 salt and 1/2 teaspoon of haldi (turmeric) to the pan and mix well.
– Cover the pan and let the saag cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes or until it becomes soft and tender.
– Once the saag is cooked, turn off the heat and let it cool down for a few minutes.
– Your Saag is ready to be served. You can enjoy it with hot roti or steamed rice.
