Beet Root Recipe: A Nutritious and Delicious Side Dish
Method
Peel and grate the beet roots.
Heat
oil
or ghee in a pan and add dry red chillies and onion seeds to it. Saute until the onion seeds start to crackle.
Add the grated beet root to the pan and Add
turmeric powder,
chopped green chillies, and salt to the pan and mix well.
Cover the pan , lower the heat and continue cooking until the beetroot is soft and tender{10 to 15 mins}. Stir occasionally.
Once the beet roots are soft, turn up the flame to high and mix well until the water dries up.
Turn off the heat and your delicious beet root dish is ready to serve. serve hot with
rice
or
roti.
