Arhar Dal with Tomato Recipe: A Delicious and Nutritious Meal

– In a stovetop or[pressure cooker , salt, haldi,]add 2cup dal and 4 to 5 cups water to cover the dal,it will take 30 minutes to cook  – Cook the dal on high heat until it is soft and fully cooked.

add 3 cups hot  water,,haldi and green chilli,cook for 5 minutes

– Heat mustard oil in a pan. – Add dry chilli, sarso, Fry until the mustard seeds start to splutter.add curry leaves

–add tomatoes, Fry until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.

– Add the arhar dal to the tarka and mix well.

Adjust the consistency by adding hot water if required. – Cook the arhar dal and tadka mixture for 5-10 minutes on high heat.

– Once the dal is ready, garnish it with coriander leaves. – Serve hot with rice or chapati.
