Start by washing the black masoor dal thoroughly in water until the water runs clear. This helps to remove any dirt or debris that may be present
In a deep pan, add 4 cups of water and the washed dal. If you are using a pressure cooker, add 2-3 cups of water and cook for 2-3 whistle
Cook the dal on high heat, until it becomes soft and fully cooked. This can take up to 20 minutes in a deep pan.
Once the dal is cooked, mash it lightly with a spoon or a potato masher.
add 3 to 4 cup water,add haldi,green chillies,mix well,keep them to boil for 5 minute
In a separate pan, heat some oil over medium heat.
Once hot, add chopped onions and fry them until they turn golden brown.
Next, add the cooked dal to the pan with fried onions. Add salt,Let the dal simmer on medium heat for 5 minutes until the flavors blend together.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
