– Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the dry chilli cumin seeds and let them splutter for a few seconds.
– Add the minced garlic to the pan and saute for a few seconds until the garlic turns golden brown
– Add the diced potatoes and stir well. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the potatoes are soft and lightly browned.
– Add the chopped amaranth stems to the pan,add turmaric,salt and stir well on medium heat. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes until the amaranth stems are tender.
– Add the small fish to the pan and stir well. Cook for 5-7 minutes on low head until the fish is cooked through.[i used raw fish,u can add fried fish too]
Amaranth Stem with Allu and Small Fish Bhaji
– Serve hot with rice or roti.
